* Patriotic Trinkets

Do you have items like these lying around in your jewelry box or catch all drawers? I think they are charming and who knows where they originally came from. What is ironic is that I’ve been trying to buy items like these for patriotic bracelets and guess what, they must all be hidden in drawers and closets, they are very .

Last week I traveled to Tucson w/ my Dad to attend the biggest Arizona jewelry convention of the year. * Embracing Social Media

I  have to say, the fact that I participate in social media is a plus for my small business. I enjoy Facebook and am getting educated on Twitter. Getting a personal response or retweet is so much fun. Ruby Gettinger (@RubyGettinger) , a reality TV personality & real life motivator was the 2nd person to follow me on Twitter. I'm sure her people found me because of the Ruby .

* Anticipation

When you're a grown up, true suprises don't happen that often. When they do happen, often they come with the news of a loved one, friend or coworker who is not doing well. When you're a kid, suprises seem to happen all the time. Your parents want to make you happy & they give you things & take you .

* Announcing 2nd Retail Location @ Coco Milano’s

Well I'm proud to announce that Ruby Mae Jewelry is now in it's second retail location. It's pretty exciting to have my pieces at Coco Milano's in east Mesa as well as Jam in Scottsdale. Cathi, Denise & the staff were so friendly and welcoming my first visit there last week. I took a lot of my creations in & Denise thought they were .

* Steady Hands

Last week I asked my dad to make me a sandwich board to place on the street pointing guests to my trunk show. I thought it would be a two hour project. I was wrong. I thought it would be a easy. It wasn't. Dad sketched it out on graph paper, found wood in hubbys shop, I went to Home .
